The bad weather is never ending. Inaris dogbite heals well and he already is back in hunting business. Kettu is after her second heat ready to go!

Kettu passed her hunting test today in Wasserburg. Well done little lady!

It was yesterday when Kettu came to Germany by plane from Göteborg Landvetter and today is her first birthday.

So far she has fulfilled all expectations, if not surpassed them. She retrieves any kind of game including even marten.
She is an alway cheerful princess who likes everyone - whether man or dog.
Despite little pubescent blocked ears she's a dear little lady who loves working with her handler.

Inari is still her great hero and champion. In some rare situations, she is allowed to lay next to him already ...

At this point we would like to congratulate the siblings, who developed so far amazing and do not only
compete successfull in hunt tests but also in obedience!

Today Inari turns 6 years! It was yesterday when the little puppy walked into my house! Beside all problems and hard times we had - Inari is the "once in a lifetime" dog. He set the bar very high for male dogs in many ways.

No chance to find out if it was insane or brave ...
anyway some totally insane but brave people entered their really young dogs for the JP/R.
The great judges with their head K. Wunder made it a perfect test in a very beautiful part of the bavarian woods.

At the end of the day 4 out of 5 teams could pass the test. The range of points was very narrow,
so all of them were winners.
Especially Melanie ( Kennel Covellyn's ) on her first hunting test ever did a more than great job.

As Martin ( Kennel Kinclaith ) did as well, who startet with two dogs!

When the papers were ready my surprise was big when Kettu made "best dog of day"

3- Almanza Pleasure Is Mine with Martin 17 month
4- Kvicksans Life is Life with Melanie 13 month

A few month before Anna asked me to come to her kennel meetings "Wildförstertrophy".
I thought it was a joke - but it wasn't. So Kettu and me were the first tollerteam to start at the trophy.

Martin Kuse ( Kennel Kinclaith ) had nice tasks for the teams in sunny Knittkuhle!
Some dummies were lost in holes, some ducks stranded in the trees.

After two days in the sun - some people were even sunburnt - two prices were awarded:
The "Wildförster" for Andrea & Ciro. And the "Yeehaw Youngster Trophy" for Kettu & me!!
I am very proud of my litlle girl!

After the trophy is before the tropy! So we are looking forward to 2012 when it is again:

"YEEHAW Wildförster & Friends"
